I’ve never know what I’m good at. In my youth, I was a prima ballerina. In my adolescence, I was a cheerleader. I even spent seventh grade trying my hand at playing soccer…I quit three days in. After my first breakup, I had every intention of being a songwriter. And now, well, who the hell knows? Maybe this blog is another whim of mine that will fade fast, or maybe this is the start of something big. Regardless, here goes.
My name is Evan Hartnett. I’ve just graduated high school and have recently turned eighteen. I consider myself to be fairly motivational in my flowery words and only slightly a mess in my daily endeavors. These two attributes should make for some entertaining content-OH BOY are you in for a treat!
In the fall I will be attending Christopher Newport University where I will be majoring in Communications. I suppose this blog will be a good way to get in some writing practice.
Now why, out of all things, did I choose to blog?
- Well to be blunt, I’ve been through some hell…Might as well amuse an audience with my trauma.
- I love to watch youtubers, listen to podcasts, and even follow some blogs. Social media is my thing!
- I realize a blog on wordpress.com will not instantly be my claim to fame, but as someone who has always struggled with their identity, perhaps this blog can be my way of making a name for myself.
